Refund policy

NZ Consumer Act & Fragility Warning

This policy is governed by the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. High-performance fishing tackle is inherently fragile. While these materials excel under tension, they are sensitive to impact. Because a single knock during transit or handling can compromise the item, we require immediate inspection.

REQUIRED FOR ALL CLAIMS: 5 Photos + 30-Second Video. Email to: admin@tiofishing.com

The files must be original , no edit, no AI generation.

1. Transit Damage (24-Hour Inspection)

Timeframe: Within 24 hours of the parcel’s recorded delivery time and date.

If an item is damaged during transit, provide 5 photos and a 30s video to admin@tiofishing.com. Confirmed transit damage results in a refund for the item; initial shipping costs are non-refundable.

2. 14-Day Refund (Change of Mind)

Timeframe: Within 14 days counting from the original order date.

  • Items must be unused and in original condition.
  • Restocking Fee: A 15% fee applies to all change-of-mind returns.
  • Shipping: Buyer pays return shipping. Initial shipping costs are non-refundable.
  • Cancel order before fulfillment. A 7% fee including in-house return fee and financial transaction fee will be applied.

3. Manufacturing Faults (30-Day Express Window)

Timeframe: Within 30 days counting from the original order date.
